About Nicole

I'm Nicole. The idea of an about page is a good one, but it is hard to talk about yourself in my experience. I live in North Texas, just 160 miles away from where I grew up. I love living in Texas, although the stereotypes drive me crazy. I'm a mom to five (!) kids and wife to one awesome man. I read, shop (though not as much since procreating has played such a prominent role in my life), cook, and just live life. I'm Roman Catholic, and I share that because it is as much a part of my identity as my gender. I love sports; I even have my own subscriptions to Sports Illustrated and ESPN. My husband likes that.

Husband is a loan officer and an avid sports fan as well. We both love the Mean Green and all of our DFW sports teams. He is a ninja.

Princess is my oldest child, approaching the age of 7 much too quickly for my taste. All girl and definitely living the role of the oldest child.

IndieGirl will be 6 in the fall and she is a firecracker. She looks like me, but takes after her Daddy in personality.

Buddy will be 5 in the fall and is such a sweetie. Being so close in age to his sisters he has some gentle characteristics, but is definitely growing into a little man. His Daddy is his best friend.

Monster is almost 3! He is all boy, throwing things, running everywhere, and melting my heart with his big brown eyes.

Butterfly is just 3 months old. She is an unexpected blessing and we can't imagine life without her, now that she is here.
